Laws, rules and regulations in Finland, Norway, Netherlands, France and Spain
Each country have stipulated their own laws and regulations that prescribes which rules must be followed and obtained when it comes to work safety. It is vital that all parties involved in work based learning for students within metal work and construction are aware of these laws and regulations and that students are educated in this laws and regulations before they enter a work placements.
When sending students on international mobilities it is also important that the persons involved in the international mobility are made aware laws and regulations in the country where they are doing their work based learning. It is also good to remember that some laws are sometimes interpreted differently in different countries. In order to help make students better aware of the national differences when it comes to laws, rules and regulations relating to work safety we recommend that the students taking part in international mobilities does before (s)he leaves for the mobility a task called Differences and similarities when it comes to laws, rules and regulations in European countries
